Scottish Carers save the government over £10bn annually, with caring being a responsibility that can fall to any one of us, at any time. In East Dunbartonshire, one person in every eight is a Carer.

Caring Together - The New Strategy for Carers in Scotland is launched

On Monday 26th July 2010,  ‘Caring Together’ The Carers Strategy for Scotland 2010 to 2015 was launched at Lanarkshire Carers Centre by Shona Robison MSP.

Scotland's Chief Statistician has published a national report on the 2009/10 GP Patient Experience Survey and provisional results of the Scottish 2009/10 Inpatient Patient Experience Survey.

Carers Week Survey

The UK's six million carers have been invited to take part in the annual Carers Week survey, now firmly established as the largest survey of carers in the UK.
