The Older People Social Work team have been working with colleagues in Citizens Advice and Care and Repair to assist older people with the following:

- Ensuring your house is warm over the winter and weather proof
- Who to contact if you are concerned about housing issues over winter

East Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau, will provide information on latest Energy Saving initiatives and grants and give support to complete applications. If you are unable to drop into one of their access points throughout East Dunbartonshire. They can arrange a home visit to check any benefit or tax credit entitlement.
